Defence Projects

Problem:

We are tasked with working on Defence projects with range of problems that require out-of-the-box solutions to ensure high quality work with great consideration to confidentiality and security. 

Some of these problems include:

• Non-compliant and old wiring in buildings

• Ageing buildings that require refurbishment for future use

• Limited contractors skilled in this kind of work, who understand how the requirements for working on defence sites.

Solution:

We work with the client closely to revise our scope of work, often including full rewire of a building, providing everything from data and fibre optic networks through to llight and power, ceiling fans, sub main cabling, new switchboards and the like. 

Fully populated switchboards are also commonly supplied to ensure future additions to the building could be completed with minimal disruption. 

We have hired and trained people to meet the standards and requirements that ADF expects. While the specific jobs might be common in civilian settings, the additional requirements in defence for how we work are specific and vital. 

Outcome:

With over 100 ADF projects we’ve worked on, we have a strong and positive relationship with this client. We have since secured additional works as a result of our successful collaborations to deliver on projects.
